Book ➲ "Boss" Audiobook ➲ "Boss"

He was supposed to be a one-night stand.
Now he’s hiring me to be the nanny.
I wish I could say I regret it,
But that would be a big FAT lie.

Ever meet a guy that makes you sweat with one stare?
Brian’s that guy.
Loving, powerful, and damaged, all in one package.
And I’m the dummy who thought I wouldn’t fall for it.
Now my heart aches every time he talks to his daughter.

Brian has a dangerous past,
And I’m the pawn about to be taken.
A mistake they’ll regret—
Especially now that I’m carrying his baby.

I liked everything about this story as it starts of quick and to the point. Riley is relationship shy and trying to move on from an unhealthy and abusive relationship. It’s been a year since her “escape” and her relationship has been online with Bryan. I liked that they get to know each other and converse through the dating app daily. After six months they finally decide on meeting and hooking up. One night only and then they go back to their platonic online relationship. Of course the one night together is over the top wonderful for them both. And when they meet one month later when Bryan is interviewing for a nanny, things start spiraling out of control. Their relationship is enhanced by his adorable six year old daughter, Carly. The whole live in nanny situation creates many graphic intense “forbidden” scenes that are hot hot hot! In the midst of this, Riley’s ex creates drama that leads to kidnapping, action, and more! Very entertaining from start to finish! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Bryan is a single dad using an app to communicate with a mystery woman for 6 months. They hook up and then go back to the app. That is…until Riley shows up as his new nanny.
