I already finished "The Untethered Soul" before opening Singer's latest book "The Surrender Experiment". We're talking an apples vs oranges difference in the path each book travels, yet the intention of these two efforts remains the same: recognize our internal chatter as nothing more than a "neurotic roommate" that is in perpetual dialogue over our personal preferences for how we want life's events to unfold. There is a solution to this insanity that is beautifully described as "The Observer" and Singer provides several down-to-earth scenarios to help the reader identify their own sense of oneness with the "Flow of Life" and learn to recognize it's perfection.

Thank you so much Michael Singer for sharing your amazing story. It would seem far-fetched if it was fiction. Inspiring.
  • This book came when I needed it most.

I've never read Michael's other books. This one fell into my lap, as Divine fate would have it. I was already intuiting that I could find more internal peace if I practiced going deeper into my surrender practice... It's an evolution for me. Practice, practice, practice. I'm type A, I have preferences, but I do know the universe works in amazing ways when we say "use me." I struggle with spiritual passivity, sometimes, knowing the balance between next right step and following the leads of life. This book is wonderful and fascinating. I especially appreciated his insights into own spiritual journey with his humanity. Honestly can't wait to read again.
